Who's organizing the People's Summit?

We, the organizing team of the People's Summit, are a group of people active in different political groups, NGOs, or as individuals in Vienna. We have come together to organize this conference. We situate our activism and political work in the areas of climate justice, feminism, anti-capitalism, anti-racism & global solidarity.

We try to make our program as accessible and non-discriminatory as possible. At the same time, we also want to make it transparent that we as a team are very privileged in many aspects: We currently consist mostly of people that are white respectively not affected by racism and largely of able-bodied people. We are aware that we are not free of various forms of discrimination. It is important to us to create spaces for criticism during, before and after the conference and to ensure that we treat each other with solidarity and respect.
